We had a GREAT stay at Coveside! We had heard for years about how lovely Christmas Cove is, but the reality exceeded expectation! Friendly, responsive staff and a TERRIFIC dinner just up the gangway at the restaurant. Good shoreside shower and bathroom facilities. No power or water at the dock, but that was as advertised. We would come again!

Coveside is our favorite destination. Moorings are in a well protected harbor, the service and food is always terrific, plus the whole harbor has a vibe that is so classic to cruising in Maine. Our thanks to Lynette for always taking care of us and for being so responsive to messages on Dockwa!. She makes every visit memorable.

Good clean mooring. Friendly harbor launch on VHF 71. Coveside is a party place on Sunday afternoons with live rock music! Restaurant closes at 1700 on Sundays.

People here are very accommodating. We had to stay an extra night because of bad weather and I am glad we did. The restaurant is terrific! Best food we have had on our two plus week trip in Maine.

This is one of the most beautiful locations I've ever spent time at in our sailboat. The marina staff was great and super helpful when we ran into some weather issues and needed to extend our stay. We will definitely be back!

Coveside Restaurant fall hours , CLOSED MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, Thursday & Friday 4:00 pm-8:30 pm, Saturday 11:30-9:00, Sunday 11:30-4:00. Music in the Burgee Bar Saturday nights 8:00 pm-11:00 pm. CLOSING FOR THE 2026 SEASON ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

Christmas Cove, located between Boothbay and Pemaquid Point in the picturesque village of South Bristol, was named for Captain John Smith when he anchored here, December, 1614. Coveside Restaurant & Marina offers a gorgeous setting, along with dock and mooring space in the safety of Christmas Cove. Enjoy a delicious meal on the deck overlooking the sailboats, or in our spacious dining room offering a spectacular view from every seat in the house. The Burgee Bar is a sailor's delight with ragged colorful burgees brought in from all over the world, hanging from the rafters.

IF YOU HAVE RENTED OVERNIGHT DOCK SPACE ON SUNDAYS, ARRIVAL TIME IS AFTER 5:00 PM, UNLESS APPROVED FOR AN EARLIER ARRIVAL, IF NOT, WE REQUIRE THAT YOUR ARRIVAL TIME BE 5:00 PM OR LATER. If you have the opportunity, the Sunday Dockside Parties from 2-5 pm are a favorite event for locals and travelers alike! Dockside parties are known for their fantastic live music and atmosphere. SEE NOTE ABOVE REGARDING OVERNIGHT DOCK SPACE ON SUNDAYS
