This is a great spot but we were disappointed that no one responded to our radio calls for a mooring assignment- shouldn’t such an assignment be part of the reservation confirmation particularly when the marina was apparently unstaffed on Monday and Tuesdays. We took up a mooring out of necessity and later in the evening a boat arrived claiming that it had been assigned to his boat. We worked it out but it was awkward B

Hard working short staffed dining room staff were pleasant and smiling. Food was good drinks were better. The harbor and site are top notch and not to be missed. Shower was hat and forceful, It would be nice to be able to get water, and electricity for boat with a slip. Hopefully as staffing allows they will have waterfront staff that works as hard as the restaurant staff.

There's not enough space here or words in the English language to describe what an overwhelmingly great experience we had at the Coveside. Lynette, the manager, is one of the kindest and most generous people we have met in our travels. She runs an excellent operation that is not only appreciated by the customers but valued and respected by the staff who are happy and eager to be of service. The catalyst for this glowing review was a medical emergency that we endured while staying on a Coverside mooring. Not only did Lynette go above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety, she made it clear that our focus should be on getting healthy. (The only thing she didn't do was go to medical school and treat us while on the boat...we are not holding this against her.. :)) Additionally, the people in Christmas Cove and South Bristol bent over backwards to help in any feasible way, including offering their homes for recuperation. We remain overcome with gratitude, so much so that we are looking for real estate in the area, In the more generic review, I would add that this a great place to hang out, beautiful setting, great protection, great food, sweet little town and nice hiking in the area. This is a spot that should not be missed and you'll soon see why it will become your home away from home. With unending gratitude...

Love the Coveside. Glad they were able to open this year. Moorings are tight but somehow it always seems to work...

We had a great time at Coveside. The staff were very attentive and the dinner was great!

A longtime favorite, it was nice to be there again! Although we had to switch moorings to accommodate The length of our vessel, the dock was very accommodating. Yummy apps and drinks at the Coveside Restaurant!
