Excellent stay. The marina staff was helpful and extremely friendly. The exquisite onsite waterfront restaurant offered an array of dining experiences from patio seating, bar and high tops to formal white tablecloths. The menu was tastefully done with options for every palate. My favorite was the shush!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality stay…

The entire experience is wonderful. Location is perfect, beautiful views of the harbor. Very experienced dock staff, and a very good restaurant right on site. The Dockmaster Derek is superb. This is our second time visiting, and we will be back again.

I run an 80’ motor yacht out of Ft Lauderdale FL, and do New England every summer. We stayed at Boothbay Oceanside for five days in Aug 2024 and really enjoyed it. The dock staff is fantastic and very helpful. Docks are very nice and power is good. All the important stuff! Location is great. Very quiet and no tourist foot traffic as with the other side of harbor. We will definitely be returning next season!

Great location and facility (but no showers!). VERY friendly and helpful staff. Ocean Prime - BHOGR's dockside restaurant - is right by the slips and a lovely place for appetizers & cocktails. We've been to most of the marinas in Boothbay Harbor and BHOGR is definitely the nicest, but also pricey.

Connor, Derek and Crew were professional and accommodating. As expected the docks and facilities are well maintained. The view, ambience and food at Coastal Prime is a must have experience while in the area. The dock is close to all the happenings in town just across the footbridge. It is always a treat to stay at this resort and is our first choice whenever we are in boothbay.

Great place to stay with wonderful views. There are bathrooms but no showers, we just booked a room since we needed an extra bed and that solved the shower problem. The restaurant was also excellent. We stayed during the week in early September and it was great because there weren't a ton of people in town, but the weather was perfect. We will be back.

We’ve been staying at the hotel for years. Love it. We booked a slip at the marina, arrived, and found out the were NO bathroom or shower facilities for marina guests. I asked for use at any if the resort bathrooms, gyms, fitness centers. Was told to “go rent a day pass at the YMCA”. Wouldn’t even provide a discounted room. Been boating my whole life, love the resort, just don’t arrive by boat.

You can’t beat the location! Also, the communication via the messaging on the app was extremely helpful. The only thing I would say was missing for a full-service marina would be a separate bathroom and shower area for boaters. This is not a dealbreaker for us, but it would be a lovely added bonus. We hope to return soon.

Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort charges 50% more than most facilities in Maine for a mooring. This would be fine if you could use/visit amenities of the resort which are nice…but that is very hard. Moorings are > .5 miles from hotel and restaurant(other side of the harbor) and they don’t offer launch service. The mooring field is also exposed so rolly in any southerly breeze. Also very little assistance with finding the mooring field(no map…just “near this building” etc.). Easier to just anchor there in more protected area or find another facility closer to town.

Just completed another outstanding stay at Boothbay Oceanside. The docks are great and the dock hands are outstanding. Always wanting to help. Brings your amazon packages down to your boat and takes away your trash. Very secure. The restaurant is great too. Outstanding sushi. Last but not least is the gold course. All golfers, a must stay. First class facility and docks. 5 star resort and amenities. If you are a golfer, this course is a MUST!! Jeff the DM could not have made our stay any better. From the time we arrived to the day we departed he was attentive to all our needs. Thank you Jeff, we will be back next year.

Don't go here. They do not want transient boaters. No services or amenities, not even help with docking lines. Staff pleasant.
