OK, but overpriced. Concrete plant across the way is ugly and noisy.

Excellent! Paula Davis, dock master, has made some great changes. Kept our Club together on the docks, greeted us with “freebies” and the check-in and check out were done electronically. No issues.

It was a great stay! The staff were very helpful with docking and answering any questions about the area. Super friendly! We are definitely coming back and hope to bring some of our family with us next time.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful. There was a team to assist with lines and electrical when entering the slip. Bathrooms are clean. I will definitely return.

A definite improvement over my last stay. The dock staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the bright shirts; really made finding my slip easier. An offer to bring ice to the slip was very much appreciated. The new deck along the boardwalk is very nice. The bath-house was clean but could use a refresh

The town dock is now under new management for a couple seasons and has made great improvements to their service. The Dockmaster pays great attention to request and reservations. Dock hands are readily available, friendly, and willing to assist in any way. Maintenance of the docks seems to be a higher priority under the new regime.

Cape Charles is a delightful stopover. The shops, restaurants, bakeries, and creameries are fun to explore. Clean beach. No jellies seen. Throwback to a simpler, family centered vacation.

Excellent spot, restaurant on site, well-maintained and marked docks, attentive dock hands, clean bath house. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach. 2nd time here, and will be returning.

Very nice Marina. The dock crew was great! Nice wide floating docks. Easy walk to town or rent a golf cart. The beach is great especially for small children. It is very shallow, with no deep drop off. Great overall experience.

Convienient to town and beach. Staff was excellent. Music at the Shanty was a bit loud and went late. Should have stopped by 10:00 or so. Bath house was clean and accessible.

About Cape Charles Town Docks

The Cape Charles Town Marina ably hosts a unique mix of commercial, industrial, and recreational vessels in its protective basin boasting 95 slips, 4 T- Heads ranging from 60 to 120 feet and 1200 feet of dock space. Whether for work or play, patrons enjoy access to the greatest fishing areas on the Chesapeake Bay. Visitors can watch watermen haul in and off-load their daily catches of blue crabs, horse shoe crabs, conchs, fish, clams, shark and scallops. The Harbor’s state-of-the-art public boat ramps are enjoyed by both individual pleasure and sport fishing crafts as well as the charter boats that run expeditions daily for cobia, striped bass, flounder, drum, spade, trout and croaker. Transient vessels appreciate the Harbor for its deep-water slips and docks and short walk to the re-emerging Historic Town.
