George was very helpful explaining how everything worked at the Marina. Showers were good and the place was secured with fob locks. Their dingy dock is only for people on their mooring balls. About a half mile walk to O'Maddys and town. You can anchor but you won't be able to use the Marina dock or facilities. You would need to anchor your dinghy and wade in. We chose the ball because we liked the showers and dinghy dock. About 1/2 of the town is open.

Perfect stop over Marina. 300 ft floating transient dock. A bit tight getting to the back end of the marina but doable 46 ft Tollycraft was able to spin out of there.

I love the Gulfport Mooring Field

Great place, nice people, convenient to town, restrooms / showers could be a lot cleaner. Town is great, love O’Maddy’s pub. Several businesses still not open from hurricanes but many are now open and back to normal. Transient dock is floating. Currently no fuel or ship store.

Rough mooring Field. Lots of boat wake. Only good coverage from fetch is north. At this point and time, there are no dinghy docks. Just the seawall after hurricanes. Can use marina, but 25 min walk to places on the water. Nice staff. No real facilities at this time. Hope to see improvements next year!!

It pains me to say this as this used to be a great little marina, but post hurricane it’s become a disaster. Technically, the marina is closed, so I don’t get why they are accepting transient reservations. There is literally zero communication from the staff. Don’t bother calling, because they won’t answer, or return voicemails. The gates are locked with signage saying closed, by appointment only. There is no instructions as to how to check in at the marina upon arrival. The office used to be by the ramp, but got flooded out, I get it, but put a sign that says check in on the 2nd floor of the adjoining building. Is that hard? This is now the 2nd time I got locked out of the marina because there was no guidance on how to get a gate fob. Still no gas. Harbor master sits in his office with the door locked. Nothing about this place says customer service. It’s like they have completely given up on the marina. It may not be them personally, but much more likely the city of Gulfport itself. Every other marina in the area has largely recovered. This one seems to be sinking lower. 2 yrs ago, this was an awesome marina…. See past review. Now, I’d say avoid it like the plague.

clean nice marina, no staff really for help, no store, no showers and no fuel. Still recovering from hurricane damage

Everything worked and harbor masters were great. Floating dock, three Pumpout locations, one right on the west transient dock. Bathrooms, two each with showers appeared clean. We did not use them. Interesting is the transient dock is a floating dock on the wall and all the regular slips are non floating wood piers. The beach street district is a short walk and a great people watching place with a few unique shops, a very small but cute market with not only basics but some neat food and drink options and a number of restaurant bars. A lot of live music and all are local artists. Not much here otherwise and any provisioning will require a bike or ride service. However St. Petersburg and St. Pete are only about 5 miles away.

Shallow entrance, my buddy boat bumped at 5 foot, 2 hours after low tide. No fuel. Narrow fairways for a 60’ and 55’. 5.5 feet at transient dock at low tide. Once the crew answered the phone, they were quite nice and helpful. No answer on 16 or 68.

nice place, nice people, very helpful and accommodating after TS Debby wrecked the anchorage, moorings, allowed us safety at the transient dock until things get straightened out

Excellent location, friendly management and great community location. The mooring field is an excellent stopping for those doing "The Great Loop"; with a fenced in Dingy Dock for those on a Mooring Ball.
This is my Home Port and a great location for access to the Gulf of Mexico as well as the Intercoastal. The two bridges, one on the Intercoastal exiting to the North Channel to the Gulf and the other Terri Verde Bridge heading East toward the Skyway Bridge are both new Intercoastal Standard hiegh.
Fair Winds to all those travel this way.
