Three dockhands met us upon arrival -- for a totally flawless docking! We were a little disappointed with a lack of amenities--UNTIL-- they offered us unlimited use of the marina SUV! We were able to provision, get our laundry washed and folded (3 miles away) with same day service and visit the local Ace hardware. There is a fabulous seafood market and restaurant within walking distance. All and all it was a great experience!

This is an easy stop if you are coming in from the outside and want to get back into the ICW. We also wanted fuel, and the information page sings its praises about its high speed fuel pumps. Unfortunately, they have no fuel! The wave and current action getting in and out can be a bit hairy, so time accordingly. Also, the huge metal gas/diesel sign clanged horribly and the dock made a lot of banging noises - we were tied up on the inside of the (non-existent) fuel dock, so try not to be put there if you are going in. Very secure; otherwise, not much to offer and not much activity there. Very close to a military base which was running helicopter exercises while we were there, which, between the clanging of the gas/dock and the helicopters, made for a very noisy stay. Poor Hobie the cat was terrified!

Marina was very quite, not that is a bad thing. More geared up for motorboats and dry stack boat than sailing yacht. Sadly the dock had been damaged the week before, making it look quite ruin down. This also lead to no fuel service. No real amenities, not fully up to the morningstar standard I have seen in the past.
However staff very helpful and friendly, and the store has some useful items in. It is also pretty secure marina, which is alway good.

This marina would have a 5 star rating if it had 24 hour bathroom facilities. When the ships store closes at 5:00 PM the bathroom is closed (because it's in the store). No showers, quite a lot of wave action at the docks. Staff is awesome and very friendly, close the a public boat ramp with free 24 hr parking which adds to the marina rating. (we are trailer sailers) Good overnight stop.
