Really pretty quiet spot. Free launch - picked us up and took us to their marina building, which was already closed, but they opened it just for us so we could shower and do laundry.
Walked down the street and an ice cream shop traded us quarters and got some yummy crepes and pizza and ate while we waited for laundry. Lots of large ferry boats, but didn’t bother us.

Excellent service, it would be helpful to have sticks on each and every mooring so it would be easier to catch the ropes. A boat close to us almost bumped into us as it was challenged to catch it. Some of the moorings have them, why not all ?

Showers were unavailable after 4pm and the launch was hard to get a hold off for returning to the boat at 9pm.

Great launch service. Launch driver could not have been nicer. Even in rain. Good, clean mooring lines. Drop right in town. Loved it!!! Will be back!!

Port Jefferson was a great cruising stop! The launch drivers were prompt and friendly. Nice showers and everything was within walking distance. We do wish there was a dinghy dock.

We picked up a mooring last minute as we came into Port Jeff and these guys were super nice and helpful, especially for being off season. Mooring was in good shape and easy to pickup. We will be back.

Port Jeff mooring and launch service are the perfect people to use for an overnight in the harbor. The moorings are easy to locate and spot, close to the town and the crew are terrific-I always enjoy catching up with Zach the launch driver!

Zach the launch skipper was great. He responded to our calls and sped to pick us up every time. He helped us with details ranging from where to pump out our holding tank to where to get the best meals. Our stay was made more enjoyable thanks to Zach and the launch service!

PJ is a great stop and the moorings are well marked.
Danfords can get a bit loud but it’s the summer and to be expected.
The launch runs well and we never waited long to get picked up. Will stay again.

Had a great overnight experience at Port Jefferson Launch. Got mooring ball assignment as we entered the harbor. Launch boat escorted us and a helpful Port Jefferson Launch work boat assisted us in grabbing the morning ball. Went to town and ate at Pasta Pasta. Easy launch service both ways. We will come back.

Serving the local community since 1996. Our licensed captains along with fully insured and drug tested crews guarantee your safety and comfort. All of our well maintained passenger vessels are United States Coast Guard inspected. We will pick up at your boat or bring people to your boat. We will drop off at our transient dock. We will deliver ice, food, drinks or anything you want to your boat. Better than taking your dinghy in to town. You don’t have to worry about navigating at night in your 10′ dinghy. Enjoy cocktails and dinner and we will drive you back to the boat. Passengers can dress for the evening and not have to worry about getting wet.
