Sandwich Marina

I originally wrote a review in early June after having a very disappointing experience with everything at the marina. The ramp was not staffed, the cost effectively doubled with the new parking rules, and Harbormaster Giordano was nowhere to be found. The response I received to my review was disappointing as well. Rather than addressing the concerns I raised, it seemed to blame everyone else and take little to no accountability for the issues. Their response is still below. Since then, I’ve gone back several times specifically to try to speak with Harbormaster Giordano, and once again, he was not there. On the one occasion when he actually was at work, I was told that I needed to make an appointment just to speak with him. At this point, I’m not surprised by the negative feedback I’ve heard from other boaters regarding their experiences with the marina, including concerns about the Harbormaster’s availability, performance, and attitude. I’ve been using this marina for many years, and it’s frustrating to see how much things have changed. What used to feel like a place that served and valued the boating community now feels very different. The people responsible for managing the marina should be willing to listen to the people who actually use it and address legitimate concerns rather than deflecting responsibility. It’s time for a change in management -John G.

The gentleman at the fuel doctor are always polite and knowledgeable. The office staff is always accommodating.. Great place to stay, within walking distance to several great restaurants

Sandwich Marina location is nice with restaurants, entertainment bars, and acute town nearby. Uber services are available which is a plus the Marina is well appointed and people dock there are beyond friendly. Laundry service services are pricey at five dollars for each washload and five dollars for each dry load.

Professional. H dock is a fair 400 yards from the restrooms. Bar/restaurant on that side is excellent and nearby.

Great and convenient marina. Dock hands were very helpful. Good restaurants nearby as well as a large Stop and Shop within a 12 minute walk.

It's easy to see why this marina is so popular. The staff reservation, docking and Dwight at the fuel dock were all very competent, professional and well trained. We arrived on our way home from the Tall Ships where we hosted guests onboard for two days. My wife and I (I'm 80-not allowed to say how old she is!) so we were tire. Fortunately the dock staff was very competent and our docking was made very easy. When we hear from friends in our home port that air was unsafe due to the Canadian fires we decided to stay an extra day air forecast was a good one in Sandwich. I called them directly, explained the reason for the request and within 10 minutes received a confirmation that one more night was not only possible, but that she reassigned a few boats coming for the night, so we could stay in the slip (C22) we were in. We stopped at the fuel dock for 100 gallons of diesel on our way out. As a Safe Harbor customer had we gone on to one of their fuel marinas we would have saved almost $100. Sandwich was certainly worth the difference. Additionally (and this was the best email from a marina I've ever read). The morning of our departure I received an email with our slip and appropriate docking info, hailing channel, dock code, dock layouts, WIFI address & password. I couldn't recommend a marina with more a higher rating, if I could Sandwich Marina ans staff would have gotten it!

Fantastic marina and facilities. They went above and beyond to get us a slip on the commercial dock to escape bad weather when they were full. Great restaurants nearby as well.

Great stay, lovely marina! Staff there is so friendly and helpful! Of particular note the Office Staff are wonderful, all the folks on the Fuel Dock are incredible and in particular Nick T and Bryce are wonderful wonderful people that are always willing to jump in (not figuratively!--but seeing their work ethic, they might actually!!!) and help out! Kudos to them! Of special note is Meghan! She is absolutley amazing and knowledgeable! She deserves a HUGE raise! 5 Stars, will be back!
