St. Johns Yacht Harbor

Our visit to St. Johns Yacht Harbor was exceptional! We arrived a bit frazzled after a bad experience at a marina the prior day. Beau and A.J. were a breath of fresh air. Extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Made the process of docking so much easier than prior day. Exceeded our expectations when they moved another boat to provide us a quiet slip instead of docking on a T-head. We didn’t ask, they just did it. Their actions helped us get a much needed good night’s sleep. The cherry on top was the incredible bathrooms and showers. Spacious and clean. The best we’ve encountered on the ICW. We created posts about our experience on our FB and Instagram pages (Aligaro Loops) including awarding SJYH our very own Aligaro Award. Only five marinas have earned this award during our nearly three months on the Great Loop. Thanks again for taking good care of two weary, novice Great Loop cruisers. 6/10/2026 - Another good stay except for all the boats blowing through the No Wake zone and rocking the boat. The new expansion is nice, and they are rebuilding the "A" dock. === Always a great stay at St. Johns! Much quieter than downtown Charleston. I wish that they could get SCDNR to put up no wake zone buoys around the marina area. Seems most boaters don't have a clue that marinas are no wake zones. We got rocked pretty well a few times. It does quiet down after dark however. Thanks for another great stay!

I would not stay here again. They put us on the T for four days of wakes slamming us into the dock. No thanks. Nothing for food onsite or walking. $11+ for bag of ice and tiny OJ Clean bathrooms.

on T head south of bridge. 3 hands to help us get on the dock. Pretty strong current but we had no issues. Facilities are great and clean as usual. Thanks for the stay.

A Great group of people operating this location. Very helpful and willing to do what it takes. They accommodated us with everything and anything we asked them for.

Great Marina . Very convenient to many Charleston Attractions and easy to access and no worries about shallow water. The amenities are great and friendly staff . There is a new restaurant coming soon and will be a great addition . I have dealt with many other marinas in the area over the years and this is by far the best .

Dock hands were great!

If I could give 6 stars I would!! I'm on the last leg of a 3-week journey that has taken me to over a dozen marinas. Without hesitation I would rate this marina the best!! The staff is exceptionally helpful, the bath house is immaculate, and I took advantage of the complimentary loaner vehicle.

Very nice facility. Best bathrooms I’ve seen so far on/near the ICW. The staff members we interacted with were knowledgeable and friendly.

Great marina, friendly staff, nice facilities, pool, laundry, loaner car. The only problem is there’s no restaurants, or market, etc to walk to - you’re kind of stuck! There are plans for a restaurant next year. Nice stay waiting on parts!

The docks were in good shape and the customer service was top notch. We borrowed the courtesy car to run a few errands. It was in great shape. Probably the newest car we've driven in a few years. The river however, was really flowing, which provided a lot of noise for the night. We only stayed one night. Would recommend.

Excellent customer service and communication! Our Jeanneau Corrine spent 9 months at St. Johns while awaiting a new owner. Even though we live over 2,000 miles away I was completely comfortable that our boat was being well-cared for. Highly recommend!

Wonderful marina! Everything was well cared for, it all seemed new. Fantastic dock help, Beau and AJ were so great with us as new boaters. There is a courtesy car and swimming pool. The dog walking area is nice as well. In addition to the great dock help, the bathrooms/showers alone are worth a stop. The clearest, nicest bathrooms and shower rooms! We really enjoyed our visit and will stop again.

St. Johns Yacht Harbor is a wonderful marina staffed by pleasant and helpful people. Go there!

Very accommodating crew.

Dockhands were polite and professional and the facilities were top notch - the bathrooms/showers and laundry were pristine; my wife said the shower there was the best she could remember of any marina we’d visited. The courtesy car is new and clean, with one minor issue we reported. We didn’t try to connect to the WiFi as we have our own system. We typically anchor instead taking a marina but temps were forecast to be quite cold overnight and we needed shore power to run our heaters. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended; we’d certainly stop here again!

We loved our stay at this marina. It was easy to access and the dockhands were very helpful. The facility is clean and well-organized and dog-friendly. The bathrooms and laundry are the best we've seen on our trip!

Excellent marina but courtesy car is indispensable. There is nothing in walking distance.

Very nice marina. Nice floating docks and great facilities. Bathrooms, showers, pool, fire pit and grill area is really nice. Down side is that staff is not around and the store is never open. Offer a courtesy car but there is no one there to sign up to use the car.

Helpful and polite dock staff. Nice area to walk our dog. Great shower and restrooms!

As always, excellent service by the guys on the dock, great facilities and it’s really nice to have a courtesy car to use. Will return on the way back!
