The slip was fine the location in town great but They called and asked when I would arrive and I told them around 3. We get there at 2:45 and no one’s there or answering vhf or phone. So had to circle for 20 minutes before they got there. Once in they sent me the “welcome” package with gate codes to get back into the marina after dinner in town. The code did not work. So called the “emergency” phone number in welcome packet and the number was disconnected. Luckily someone who lived in the community around the marina got back from a walk and let us in.

Great Marina with nice views and protected slips. Chris is awesome and really takes care of you. Pool, lounge, grill and a short walk into town.

Had a nice stay. Docks and marina are nice. Pool and bath/showers were clean. Good location for getting around Annapolis and still being slightly off the beaten path.

The marina has been really good in the past. This year they did not allow transients to park a car on the premises. They also started charging for Wi-Fi. Mike, the dock master, was a very friendly and helpful.

I had spoken with the dockmaster and he was supposed to send us our slip information prior to arrival, but no email was received. Sadly we hailed the Marina several times to announce our arrival with no reply, so I assumed we would be in the same slip we had for the last several visits when Dusty was still here. Well, once the dockmaster came back from lunch, we were told we would have to move to some other slip after we were all settled into what we were assuming would be our slip. Very limited communication from AMCYC and still waiting on confirmation with our October visit. Worst mistake made ever was to let Dusty go as he was always on point and on top of communications.

Nice and small marina! Staff are kind and helpful. The club house is nice and the water taxi to town is really helpful (VHF 68 for a pickup at right at the end of the dock and $5 person to the city dock). Everything is well maintained and the marina is in a gated neighborhood.

We got very lucky to get a slip on short notice during the Boat Show weekend. Not cheap, but the location is fantastic. Dusty was great and our dock neighbors were very friendly. We didn't explore the onsite amenities, but they seemed extensive. Knock off a point for a troublesome wifi, which shouldn't be an issue in 2021.

Ive sailed for 35 years and Ill have to say that my experience in this marina was one of the best if not the best. Dusty the harbor master was without a doubt one of the friendliest and helpful harbormasters of all time. Met us at the dock helped us in offered to drive us in to Annapolis or to a nearby store. The bathrooms were super clean and the facility was impeccably maintained. I wish I could give this place 10 stars.

Stayed there Sep 9-12...Outstanding service!!! Dusty is my personal hero. Excellent support! Great location for easy access of Annapolis. Walked to USNA football game and enjoyed the local area. Thanks Dusty!

Dusty is terrific. Wonderful service. We had our trawler on the T head one night and the wind/wave action was a bit much for my daughter. Dusty actually hopped in his car the next morning and secured a slip for us at Chesapeake Harbor (sister marina). The AMCYC view is truly great and the msrina has a nice community feel.

The Annapolis Maryland Capital Yacht Club is located in the gated community of Chesapeake Landing in Annapolis, Maryland. Its placement at the northern edge of Eastport offers boaters instant access to the Severn River and the Chesapeake Bay. AMCYC offers lovely views of Annapolis, the Naval Academy and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, making time at berth a splendid experience in it. Annapolis Maryland Capital Yacht Club is has slips that are able to accommodate vessels up to 50’ in length, as well as boat lifts that have a capacity of up to 15,000 lbs.
