This was an ideal place for us to lay over for some rainy weather. Easy in , easy out , close to the highway. Clean showers, and enjoyed an excellent fish and chip dinner at the restaurant!

Our recent stay at Kent Island Yacht Club went from a stressful emergency to an incredible experience, entirely thanks to the outstanding team on site. We experienced a sudden failure with our Volvo Penta motor and had to be towed in, completely unsure of how we were going to get it resolved and salvage the trip. From the moment we arrived, Chuck was an absolute lifesaver. He went above and beyond with his kindness, hospitality, and unwavering support. He truly cares about the boaters who visit and turned a highly stressful situation into a manageable one. To make matters even better, Craig, the on-site mechanic, stepped right up to help us sort out the engine trouble. Having a knowledgeable, hands-on mechanic right there on the docks was a massive relief, and Craig's expertise and willingness to help get us back up and running were top-notch. It is a beautiful location with great facilities, but it’s the incredible people like Chuck and Craig that make this yacht club truly special. We cannot recommend Kent Island highly enough and will absolutely be returning!

Friendly , welcoming group, nice grounds, clubhouse & pool. Stellar pre-arrival communication with the fleet captain. Everybody made us feel welcome. Docks can be a bit bumpy on a southerly wind, moderate boat traffic in the narrows itself. Dinner & drinks in the clubhouse comfy & fun, great servers in the commodores lounge.

We were just there over the fourth of July weekend (2024) and had an awesome time. We have been there by boat many times - this year we took our RV and had a blast in spite of the oppressive heat. We went with a group of our boating friends that now own RVs. The camp sites are lovely, and most are located right on or a "stone's throw" away from the water. We had a joyful time watching the boats pass through. Music on Friday and Saturday night - we danced and had a grand time. Also has an outside tiki bar serving wonderful crushes and a swimming pool with a bar. Great time! We WILL be back! Update to our initial review: We have been there 4 times the summer of 2026 with our RV and love it! All are so welcoming! Jeff stopping by and checking on how we are doing is extra special! We love it and will return next year. We spent lots of time at the club, enjoying the music and the FANTASTIC meals! Kudos to the food crew - the food is excellant. We have talked to additional RV friends and will hopefully have them join us next year!. Thank you for adding the RV sites! We spent many years coiming with our boat with members of Bowleys Point Yacht Club.. We are so thrilled to come by RV. Thank you! Tracy and Scott

Great place to stay for the weekend and the members are so friendly. Food is great and it’s a fun family friendly place; my son loves fishing, crabbing, and swimming in the heated pool.

We were there with our RV and other friends with their RVs. We had an excellent time. Kent Island Yacht Club is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly. Also, we went to the club on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for dinner. Also there was entertainment each night and they were very good. Also, Jeff is such a great guy. Jeff is in charge of the grounds at KIYC and keeps it so beautiful. Thanks again. We’ll be back as we’ve been going there for many years as we used all take our boats there, but now we are RVers.

Had a wonderful stay at KIYC enjoying the spectacular fireworks over the Narrows Bridge. Jeff was a great host ... providing excellent communications and advise on navigating and docking at a marina known for ripping currents. Two thumbs up!

Nice facility. Strong current at transient dock. They do not monitor 16, a club member came and helped us tie up. Very relaxing evening listening to music from the restaurant across the channel.

We had a great stay at KIYC. Very nice and welcoming staff and club members. Good food and pie as well as beer on tap we liked. 1/2 mile walk to the visitors center and small museum. Great ice cream in the little shopping area just down from the visitors center. Everything was dog friendly.

We really enjoyed our few days at the club. Great people and facilities. Restaurant, bar, tiki bar, pool. Live music at times, Bingo. Close to Enterprise car rental so you can explore Annapolis and Baltimore off the boat. Fixed dock so a fender board is useful. Couple ft tide swing. But, make sure to come in and depart at slack current as it is brutal. Pump out down this season. Nearby marina can accommodate you.

With 10+ Restaurants and Dock Bars - all within a half a mile of the Club! Its an easy walk via the Cross Island Trail or via a short Dinghy ride.

We welcome most all Yacht Club and Cruising affiliations such as: CBYCA, Yacht Clubs of America, America's Great Loop Cruisers' Association (AGLCA), Waterway Guide members and BoatUS.

*30 and 50 Amp electric available at a flat nightly rate of $15.00 / $20.00

Transients are welcome to an overnight or weekend stay at our private club or you can join KIYC to enjoy our club year-round and get a full lease (April 1st thru March 31st.) at a very reasonable rate or discounted transient rates. KIYC is easy to get to by car and puts you close to so much by boat. In addition to dockage, we now have 15 RV parking sites available for KIYC Members, Member quest and Reciprocating Yacht Clubs. RV sites are listed as moorings.

By boat, KIYC is just 11 miles from either Rock Hall to its north or Saint Michaels to its south. With Chester and Corsica rivers just to its north and Eastern Bay, Wye and Miles rivers to its south you can pick your game whether you want to fish, crab, sail, anchor out, visit historic towns, etc, etc. Knapps Narrows is just a short jump and Oxford just beyond that. Approximately 21 miles to Baltimore for City life with Aquarium, Museums, etc or to Annapolis with Naval Academy and all it has going on. Want to go further, you have the entire Chesapeake Bay at your call.

Afterward you can cruise back to KIYC to lay back and relax at an Eastern Shore pace while enjoying its serene setting and all the amenities. Close-by, visit the cross island trail, heritage center, environmental center and more. KIYC has very attractive slip rates (membership required) and when you want to visit other areas the list of reciprocal Yacht clubs is very impressive. Make KIYC your home port and truly enjoy all boating has to offer within easy reach.

And our POOL! Enjoy spectacular views of Prospect Bay while you are in our heated saltwater pool (open from April till September) order food from our Kitchen's full menu along with libations from our bar brought to you at the pool. Have fun at the TIKI Bar, sit on the patio or in the Lounge and enjoy a million-dollar view while making friends, eating great food, and partaking in beverages.
