Nice Marina, solid amenities and good docks. Outstanding location with proximity to a comfortable little tourist oriented village and some superb trails for hiking or biking.

Marina was way overpriced for amenities offered. Dock assistant didn’t know there was a pelican pole in the slip assigned. No laundry facilities - what was offered in town (5 blocks away) was subpar - machines did not work properly. Rest rooms were clean, but outdated - shower stalls were cramped. We have stayed at marinas for less cost than this with swimming pool, individual stall bathrooms.

Management and staff were at all times accomodating. Ship store was well stocked. Layout of the marina was conducive to stress free docking. Shop technicians were very knowledgeable and helpful. Restrooms always clean. Great outfit.

Great customer service, clean bathrooms and showers and marina. Overall tip would be if you have limited mobility request a closer slip since some of the docks are a decent trek to the store/office, but for us this wasn’t an issue at all.

We came in to check in and received our dock and key. We went fishing and came back and someone else was in our dock MN 0116 HY was the boat registration of this person. We did end up taking the dock next to it A3 for this reason. Hopefully no one else was assigned to it. Otherwise it was a great experience.

About Madeline Island Yacht Club
Madeline Island Yacht Club, Inc. was organized in 1977 by a group of boat owners who loved Lake Superior, the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and the unique pleasures of Madeline Island. Their goal was to create a beautiful, quiet and tranquil marina for their yachting home. MIYC was incorporated in Minnesota and operates on a non-profit basis for the benefit of its 140 members who collectively own the Club and facilities, and direct its operations through its elected Board of Directors.
