The dock was marked and clean. No issues at all. Craig called me in advance to let me know one of the roads were closed. He greeted us when we arrived. Awesome customer service. We stayed at the Bask Hotel, the dock is right across the street. Couldn’t have been more perfect!

Dates: July 30 - 31, 2024 LOA: 48' Beam: 15' Draft: 3'4" We stayed one night on our way north. The current at this dock is very strong, even at slack current. The dock master is the only employee and is very nice and helpful. If you need assistance getting docked, make sure to call ahead with an ETA so he can be on hand. There are some sail boats anchored right across from these slips, but there was plenty of room for us to swing our 48' boat around to back into the slip. Plenty of restaurants to choose from a short walk away. Walmart is also available for grocery delivery if you need to provision.

Craig was about the best Dockmaster we have encountered on our ICW cruising. He reached out by phone early on the day of our arrival to discuss currents and wind conditions. We decided to leave earlier than planned hoping to arrive at slack. Even with little current, docking our single screw trawler was challenging but Craig and another volunteer helped us wrestle our boat into the end slip and tie up safely. Nice docks.

We rolled into this marina needing to leave the boat for a few days then keep heading north to spend some time in a yard to repower. Craig was amazing in communication and helping us get things accomplished. Our dinghy motor had failed, and we needed our bottom cleaned. He assisted with both providing info on local guys to help. This is the first marina we were using in 7 months as we live aboard and cruise full time. Couldn’t have been happier with the service, location and ease of the docks. Thanks again, Craig, for your professionalism and communication as we passed through. We will be back if the need ever arises!

Great floating docks. Great location! For the experienced only docking! Strong currents make it challenging docking vessels on the opposite sides of the slips and will certainly push your vessel into the two adjacent pilings potentially causing damage to your boat. If on lower tides, you'll certainly incur damage as a result due to the unkept pilings with sea growth protruding out (barnacles and large oyster type shells). Unfortunately, when I arrived a boat was in my slip (likely due to strong currents) and I was forced to dock in another slip finding myself fighting the strong currents and being pushed into the adjacent pilings. As a result, I incurred damage with deep scaring scratches from the protruding sea growth from the pilings. My son also incurred scratches to his legs from the barnacles on the floating dock side piling while trying to manage ropes (during low tide). PROS: Great location and floating docks! CONS: No apparent management/enforcement of boats docking in unassigned/reserved slips. - Experienced only captains docking during strong currents. -Strong currents. Not for solo docking! -Unkept pilings (sea growth not cleaned off) Will use this location again, however will exercise more caution when docking and using the slips during strong currents and lower tides.

Craig was a great help in getting us docked and giving us suggestions for restaurants and reprovisioning via Walmart delivery. The bathrooms were clean and the showers nice and hot. A very nice stop on our trip.

Craig couldn't have been more helpful getting me in and it was the perfect location for me. Docks are like new. Lots of great restaurants nearby. There is quite a bit of current through the river that you can't ignore.

Craig, the dock master, is extremely helpful and friendly. The location is good with a lot of restaurants to choose from and a nice park adjacent to the marina. The price can't be beat. The docks are nice. The kayak rental that operates out of the marina kind of took over the marina on Saturday using unoccupied slips and blocking the docks. The tidal currents can be tricky. Slack current lags the crest/bottom by about an hour. The bathrooms were usable but could use a little cleaning/freshening. The showers needed a cleaning. We knew there was no pump out at the marina, but as it turned out there was none to be had in the city. Of the two marinas in town that reported to have pump-out facilities, one was not doing it and the other wouldn't answer the phone or hail on the radio. That is not this marina's fault, but it is something to be aware of. Regardless, it is a nice facility and we would stay there again.

They actually sent a text with slip assignment and marina map. I wish more marinas would do this allows you time to plan out your docking. Close to restaurants and services

Reasonable price. You get the basics: power, water, shower, toilet. Surrounding area is well kept. Every shop owner we met was super nice. As most people comment, the docking is difficult in the strong current. Getting out of the slip was easier than anticipated.

Great place! Dock master is a true Down East gentleman I have stayed there several times and always recommend it to travelers!
