Great marina in excellent shape. Staff is excellent and it was great that they could fill propane tanks onsite

This is our third stay at Donovan's. Nice docks, friendly and helpful dock staff. Fortunately, we have not had to use the service center, but it's nice to know it is here. The harbor hosts are great as well! There aren't many local dining options aside from the Boathouse restaurant on-site, which serves excellent food but is a bit pricey. We also appreciate how proactive they are in getting speeding boats to slow down in the no-wake zone to avoid rocking boats in the marina.

Loved it! Everyone is so friendly and we had a great meal at the restaurant.

Easy docking with plenty of help. Friendly staff. Well stocked ships store. Lovely pool and clean showers and restrooms. Laundry is reasonably priced. Dog friendly. We would have loved to try the on site restaurant however they were closed the day of our visit.

Well,your team is pretty awesome. We rolled out of new York later than expected, then the coast guard and some of new York cities finest wanted to inspect the vessel, no issues, just delay. We arrived at shady about 5. Three people met us for fuel and tie up. I told them I wanted to arrive at 1 and get some help take the radar down and Chris perked up immediately. We got Eric's approval to work late and the office opened a work ticket. Chris went to work while still fueling. He helped remove the radar and lay down the radar Mount to help reduce air draft for bridges. Chris is awesome, he knew exactly what we needed and toke great care in protecting the fiberglass and getting the radar folded down. I can't thank you and your team enough. Eric and Chris are outstanding representatives of this great Marina. More than one captain told me how awesome this place was, and the team didn't disappoint. Well done,can't thank you enough.

Marina and restaurant are great. Pool, fire pit… but location is isolated. Staff were accommodating.

Did some work on the boat and they had everything I needed. Plus the buy get three was a bonus.

This is a crown jewel—one of only two we have encountered along our Loop thus far (the other being Ess-Kay Yards in Brewerton, NY. Shady Harbor is a must stop! Super helpful team to assist with docking, maintenance or any other needs you might have. Clean restrooms, showers and laundry all an easy walk from the dock. Our two dinners on the deck overlooking the Hudson at the onsite Boathouse Restaurant were among our best in the region! Owners are friendly, responsive and eager to assist Loopers. They accommodated our ever changing reservation schedule (due to canal issues) without complaint, even allowing us to add a week to our stay with zero notice. A good place to schedule Amazon deliveries too. You will meet many other Loopers here, which adds to the experience.

Outstanding, what else need be said, plenty of water when docked at 80' finger, good shore power, good fresh water, great staff, good restaurant, Brian and Kathy are terrific hosts. Stay there every trip north and south, twice a year.

Great owners and staff. Very friendly and helpful. On-site Harbour Host as well. Excellent Prime Rib on Friday/Saturday nights! They are so accommodating whatever your needs are. We stayed there for 2 weeks waiting for the Erie Canal locks to open and loved our time there. The restaurant is very good.

A very enjoyable stay. The water tends to get skinny on the northern side of the V dock at low tide, which also exposes the collapsed concrete wall that parallels the dock, forming a fairway. We left the following morning just after high tide, which covered the wall, making it appear as if we had more room than was available. There probably should be some buoys marking the wall, as it is a hazard. Otherwise, there's a nice restaurant, a clean pool, a ship's store, clean bathrooms, and an awesome fire pit on site.

Great Marina! Everyone is friendly and every thing is so clean! The restaurant is great and the Container bar is fun! Would definitely go back again if we are in the area! Oh…and did I mention the pig roast for loopers??? Off the charts! Thank you Donovans!!!

Donovan's Shady Harbor is a fantastic Marina on the Hudson River. If you are looking for a great spot to tuck away for the night or anything you might need, it is your must go to spot. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great Marina!

Beautiful marina. Clean. All staff very helpful from owners to dock hands to restaurant staff. And the food at the restaurant was divine. Love it!

Donovan’s Shady Harbor is great place to stay, the staff were amazing and treated us like family. Due to the Canal’s being closed we kept extending our stay and Cathy and Brian were very accommodating kept us at the same slip. The whole marina was invited to a Memorial Day party which they provided all the meat and everyone brought a side dish…was fun meeting seasonal and transit boaters would definitely recommend Donovan’s as a stop for all ACLCA members or anyone

We enjoyed our stay at Donavan's Shady Harbor Marina! The friendly & knowledgeable staff made sure we had everything we needed, making our time there truly enjoyable. Their restaurant, The Boathouse Grille offered delicious food with a beautiful view off the deck, and the fire pit next to the pool provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day on the water. Parking was easy, which made our arrival and unloading stress-free, and the docks were well-maintained and easy to navigate. I highly recommend this marina for anyone looking for a fantastic experience!

Great people and just an easy relaxing place. An awesome marina, very well kept. The ship store has everything and anything you may want with a great staff to help. The on site restaurant has a full menu with great water views. Very polite staff.
