This is a Great location with a 10 minute walk to downtown Newport over the causeway plus there is a water taxi unfortunately they did not have any 30 amp hook ups available so we did not run shore power

OK location at the end of town with easy access to tenders across the harbor. Amenities were very nice but limited in use due to daily weddings. We were at the end of the dock, so say our reviews were beautiful. We did not really interact with any of the dock hands as we were able to go to our dockage location and tie up with no assistance easily.

Very nice spacious docking Cecelia was very accommodating in keeping our 3 boats on the same dock. Staff was very good about bringing extra power cables so all three of us were able to hook up to 50 amps. We all look forward to coming back soon Thank you “Eventide”

We recently docked our boat, Grandeur here and had an outstanding experience. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and hospitality, providing invaluable assistance with docking and offering support whenever it was needed. I received a request to write a review but reality was we only just arrived, several days later than expected due to weather issues. Cecelia was very accommodating and made sure we would have our slip on arrival. The marina is very nice, staff is great and all is good. The crew is looking forward to a great season out of Goat Island Marina.

Cecelia and Team are one of the most accommodating and friendly dock office/ staff I’ve ever encountered. They excel to make sure you’re comfortable and happy, no matter what. The marina itself is clean, accessible, and a 3 minute launch, or short walk to Thames St. The harbor view is beautiful, and the Marina Pub is a very popular spot, right in the premises. Thank you again, and will see you on our next visit.

About Goat Island Marina

Welcome to Goat Island, an island oasis in the heart of Newport Harbor. Goat Island has a long history which includes home to a military fort during the American Revolution, torpedo manufacturing for the US Navy, and more recently serving as host to the Tall Ships Festival and world-class sailing regattas.

Goat Island Marina offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in the "City by the Sea," only minutes away from downtown Newport. Enjoy breathtaking harbor views while relaxing at your slip, or take a quick water taxi into town to experience Newport's revered shopping and exciting nightlife

Goat Island Marina is a deep-water facility that is located on the west side of Newport Harbor. There are fixed and floating slips available that can accommodate just about any size vessel. The fuel dock is easily accessible and is monitored by our friendly dock staff.

Cancellation Policy: Reservations cancelled 8 or more days before arrival will be charged a 10% cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled within 7 days of arrival will forfeit 50% of entire stay.
