Marina and staff, especially Will, were very friendly, professional and accommodating, even tucking us into a secure spot to deal with a northern blow. The Marina beach was a perfect spot for our portie to take a morning swim and even the restaurant on site accommodated our pup. Marina is across the street from a rental car agency so we could explore the Island and an easy walk to the Black Dog Tavern and stores. Great stay, all around.

We had a fantastic stay at Vineyard Haven Marina. Will and his crew were attentive to detail and helpful with our arrival and departure. If you want a location that is not as busy as Oak's Bluff, this is the place to stay. We also highly recommend the restaurant that is right on location. The food was simply delicious, I can't say enough about it. We will certainly come back.

Fantastic experience. The staff was extremely helpful land the facilities were great. Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Ping pong, darts, Laundry and ice all included! Restaurant on premise and a quick walk to several shops, restaurants, and bus stop to anywhere on the island. Can’t wait to come back.

As always, Josh and crew did a great job. One of our favorite stops. Friendly, very cool atmosphere on the docks, great setup with the beach and restaurant. Looking out at the schooners at sunset is a true Vineyard experience.

A great place for a mooring in Vineyard Haven. The facilities are nice with a separate dinghy dock and one of the top restaurants upstairs. We love to sit on the deck and enjoy a cocktail and watch the boats and relax to great tunes. The staff, Maddie, Josh and crew are very friendly and helpful. If the wind is from NE, it can be rolly, but fantastic location. Definitely on my favorites list

What a great experience! Josh and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. We had reservations for 2 nights and stayed for 6 because it was just too hard to leave. Very nice marina. Comfortable restaurant and bar. Small beach. Many families. Kids were having a fun time. Great entertainment during the afternoon. Soft yet live performance. Nice, comfortable deck furniture. Staff was great. Answered all of our questions. This is a hidden gem.

The staff was very friendly and helpful once we're got onshore. They were difficult to get a hold of by radio and phone. The amenities were excellent. Restrooms, showers, free laundry, comfortable and nice Cabana sitting area and Beach chairs to lounge on. Free ice was another plus. Their waterside restaurant very alluring but they had no reservations available for two weeks. It would've been nice if they set aside a table for their transient guests?

Three trips this summer, each one went perfect. Easy dockage, beautiful beach, stunning ocean views and lovely sitting area. The staff is fantastic as well. We won’t stay anywhere else when on Martha’s Vineyard!

Very tight slips, next to impossible to get into the slip they assigned. I am on my 29th boat and needed every skill I have to get in and out of the slip. We had to move our boat at 7:00 am to allow an other boat to get out. The dock master John is totally incompetent. We have stayed here many times over the years but this will be our last! They need Liz back she new how to run a dock.

We stayed last weekend on June 25th and the 26th. staff was nice, facility was nice and clean. The problem was we were at the end of the dock and the boat at the front of the dock put his gangway across the dock which blocked everyone else's passage. several people asked him to move his gangway so we would not have to climb over it and he wouldn't. we asked several of the staff to say something to him and they would not. It took an 80 year old women who could not get around his gangway to calling the boat owner out and screaming at him to move it so she could get around it with her cane. He finally moved it. It was so disappointing that the staff would not do anything about this idiot that i would not recommend staying there as I will not again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived after hours and just tied up to the dock. The restaurant manager, Patrick, gave us the bathroom code and helped us out. We got situated the next day; the staff were very nice and accommodating. The attached restaurant is upper-end and the food was delicious. There is only one shower per gender which made getting ready in the morning a little inconvenient. I would likely stay here should I visit again.

My stay here was really nice. Misha, Josh and Maddie we're very helpful and attentive especially Misha, he explained alot to me about the area and where to go and was instrumental in helping me get comfortable boating in the area as it was my first time venturing out on the ocean. I also forgot to give a shout out to Sydney at the restaurant. She was verywelcoming and kind. Thank you guys and gals I will be back, hopefully with a bigger boat!

With our Med season canceled last minute due to European travel still being a bit wonky. We decided to plan a New England season last minute, without much luck. Josh and Mady not only stepped up they saved the day. Providing dockage on MV, but also helped us secure dockage in both Boston and Cape Cod. Well done to the dock staff for saving the season. I needed dock space last week for a mechanical failure while heading north to Maine for the season. Even though they weren't open for the season yet Josh the dock master was great and got us a slip for 3 days. He even worked with their other marina in Falmouth to have a tech come over and get us up and running again! We'll be back for sure on our way south in the Fall. Good luck this season. With the beautiful weather last weekend we were fortunate enough to be in Vineyard Haven and get a day slip at Vineyard Haven Marina. We hadn't been here in several years but the renovations and updates that have been done are breath taking. We look forward to being back again soon.

We were stopping into MV for the night before heading out to Nantucket to meet friends. Came across this little gem of a Marina that could accommodate our 50' Azimut. The staff was friendly and responsive. They also recommended a few places to go that were still open on the island. My friends and I will be using them for our Vineyard trips moving forward. When I call on the radio the first time, it was static. I called and they answered quickly and informed me the channel to call back on and it worked perfectly. When I arrived the young workers were very polite and helpful. They helped provided me with information about the area and what to see and good places to eat. Excellence service and attentive to my needs. Would recommend this marina to my friends.

Great Marina but prices are out of control. Between dock and electric it’s almost $12.50 a foot for a 60 boat. Last time For me, even though I love visiting town. Dockwa showed everything is reserved but placing a call to marina there is space available.

It was first time visiting this location. I thought I was getting a dock slip. What I got was rafting to a boat my size along the dock and angling my stern to a dock finger. When asked how would we go out to explore they said people who come here don't leave for the weekend. They were polite but I would not go back.

We were supposed to stay at Vineyard Haven Marina 6/18/18 but a small craft warning was issued by NOAA and my guests on the boat were uneasy with sailing in those conditions. I called Vineyard Haven to cancel, got only a recording, left a message explaining and canceling and left my phone number that they might contact me. Heard nothing back and see no credit on the card that was used. Even if they feel justified in keeping my fee it is negligent to not communicate.

Marina Response:

Unfortunately we never received a voice message, if you book through dockwa they have a chat response that works very efficiently to communicate changes to reservations. Dockwa also gives you an explanation as to why you did not receive a credit, it usually is do to the 72 hour cancelation policy, unfortunately we cannot predict the weather.

One of my favorite destinations. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The overall facility is updated, very private and the bathrooms are always clean. The location is great, within walking distance of several restaurants and beaches. The private boaters lounge is a great bonus.

VH Marina is not for sailboats I strongly urge you to change your affiliation. The marina has an attitude problem and is not very helpful

About Vineyard Haven Marina

Martha's Vineyard, known for it's crystalline green shores, Atlantic breezes, fabulous shops, eateries and pubs, scenic and historic towns - and Vineyard Haven Marina is known for the numerous amenities and privacy it ensures its guests. Our deep water moorings and dockage can accommodate vessels up to 250 feet in length. Vessels over 60 feet looking for transient moorings should hail on the radio when entering the harbor. The marina will arrange shore side accommodations, dining reservations, special Island tours, and air or ground transportation, to name a few. Come to Vineyard Haven Marina: we're here to make your Vineyard visit an experience that will exceed your expectations!

All moorings are on the outside of the break-wall. Launch service is seasonal and is provided separately by Vineyard Haven Launch Service, please contact them directly for hours and dates of operation.
