Best harbor on the East Coast! I’ll say it again, best harbor on the East Coast. Friendly, helpful staff, unrivaled setting and easy access (on bikes - rented by Piccozzis) to the island and to Sag Harbor.

It is a very nice Marina convenient to a few restaurants. The dock hands were amazing actually tied up my whole boat for me.

Upon arrival they could not find my reservation that I had made 2 days in advance, but assigned a mooring anyway. Great location quiet at night. easy walk to North Ferry

We staid on one of their moorings for several nights. Solid mooring very close to the small town. Dinghy dock close to mooring field and on edge of town. Nice folks to deal with! Pretty spot.

We only moored at Dering Harbor for one night so we didn’t really experience the whole marina. Easy walk to town. Bathrooms were clean and convenient. Responsive on Dockwa.

In 62 years on the water, this was the first marina to send detailed slip description, line requirements and an offer to help if needed. Every marina should follow their example. It made docking a breeze. Thanks, guys!

Laura and her team were exceptional! The marina is quaint, old town feel! Very clean facilities and great acess to everything!I’ve stayed in a lot of marinas on the east coast and this place is one of our favorites!

Great service from Lisa, Colette, George, from pics of the assigned dock to helping tie up. Heads need upgraded and expanded to two vs service for one.

Picozzi's charged my credit card for an extra night stay without authorization after we took on 150gals of fuel and tipped the dock hands, leaving early Sunday afternoon. Brought this matter to their attention without satisfaction. Watch out for Picozzi!

Piccozzi's is a quaint marina in a great setting. Idyllic community. Short walk to Greenport ferry, restaurants and shops. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful.

We loved it there! Great location for everything we needed. Beautiful harbor and was able to take scenic waterfront walks. We also rented bikes and took the ferry (which is walkable distance from the marina) to Greenport. The bathrooms were clean and private. There were nice stores and restaurants within walkable distance from the marina. We will definitely go back.

We stayed on a mooring in the well protected Derring Harbor. While the mooring numbers were not sequential the staff were very helpful and were quick to answer all our questions. I will definitely return.

About Piccozzis Dering Harbor Marina

Located on the north side of Shelter Island, Dering Harbor Marina offers fuel, slips, and moorings all within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and accommodations.

Dering Harbor Marina provides fuel for small to large boats. Fuel options include Marina Mobil Super 93 Octane, diesel fuel, and propane. Ice and pump out service is also available dock side.

Seasonal and transient slips up to 160 feet are available. Slips feature 15 to 100 amp electrical hook-up, barbecue grills, and fresh water. Visitors also have access to restroom and shower facilities with hot-water.

Moorings are available for power boats up to 38ft and sailboats up to 42ft. There is a dingey dock available for mooring reservations. No launch service is provided.

Parking is available on site. Nearby attractions such as beaches, golf courses, tennis courts, and restaurants. Bicycles are also available for rent at Piccozzi's Bike Shop across the street from the marina.
