Friendly Dockhands and staff ... close to a few restaurants and bars... clean showers and nice pool area... docks are not floating so can get tricky to climb on and off your boat ... also current rips through the marina so need to time your approach and departure at slack tide ... would definitely stay again

This is the second time we have stayed at Dockside Marina and Resort. We stayed for about 5 weeks in Spring 2020. It is little pricey for a one-night stay. The current, which we knew about, makes it VERY difficult to dock safely. Luckily we were on a T head and some staff was there to help - very tricky. The docks are new, but not floating. We would return, but think their pricing is alittle high for transients.

I CAN'T REVIEW MY STAY BECAUSE THE DOCKSIDE MARINA NEVER RESPONDED TO MY RESERVATION REQUEST.

Friendly and helpful staff! Perfect restaurant and bar "Tiki Style" right on the waters edge. Spent the Labor Day weekend there (2020) and will definitely return.

Dockmaster put us at a slip that was not suitable for a 90 ft vessel. Would not give clear information over phone, once arrived, had to launch tender to make stern line off to piling that was 50 feet away from stern. This line blocked in the vessel in the slip next to us. Awful slip that should have never been rented.

We have been staying at the Dockside inn for 15 years. Everything about this place is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for your next stay in Ft Pierce.

If you like bull riding, this is your marina! The location is in the crosshairs of Ft. Pierce Inlet, andTHE CURRENT RIPS THRU THE ENTIRE MARINA. We had planned on a multi-month stay but left, barely, after 3 days. (we tried to leave after 2 days but the current was too vigorous to depart safely, so we were charged for a third day when we finally got out of there past "checkout time.") On the positive side, the docks are all new, and fixed, and the security gates robust. However, docking was a nightmare due to the water flow. ONE older fellow was there to help us on arrival and was useless. We were pinned against the dock until the tide turned and we resolved our situation on our own. Did I say THE CURRENT RIPS THRU THE ENTIRE MARINA? They are woefully understaffed as to offer any real assistance, and when we departed, the front office was locked and of no help, save for the same ONE older "dockmaster" who we did better without. The wifi did not work and the bathrooms, and the vibe, were as described by Reeloriginal in his 9/30 review. Let the number of empty slips be your guide! Look elsewhere for safe and professional marina services. Did I say THE CURRENT RIPS THRU THE ENTIRE MARINA?

The Dockmaster and hotel staff were as friendly as could be. The rooms were clean, the dock was new and strong. The tiki bar and grill next door was great. Everything we needed was right there.

New docks are nice, but that’s about it! The dockhands were helpful, which was nice considering the ripping current from the marina being basically in the inlet. Also, there are no marina bathrooms/showers. We were told to use the tiki bar bathroom, which is a single person use bathroom, at a busy bar... not a clean place just by virtue of the weekend bar crowd! As stated, the dockhands were great, but after multiple attempts to hail on channel 16, we were forced to call on the landline. The woman we spoke to gave us a slip assignment and hung up- no clue which dock or side or location. When we called back she gave some major attitude, as if she was doing us a favor getting us a slip at a completely empty marina (there were 4 other boats total in the entire facility)! And don’t get caught with a cup or drink from anywhere but the bar- my wife got a stern talking to after we got the boat secured for walking to the marina office with a yeti cup. I wish it was a better marina and experience, but it’s not. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY of the other marinas close by.

This was my second time visiting the Dockside Resort. I found the stay very enjoyable. The shortcoming is the small fee a second vehicle to park. My son n law met me at the hotel later in my stay due to schedules. He was charged $10.00 to park at the hotel as a second vehicle. The new owner and staff are to be complimented on their service and attention to updating the rooms and amenities. The dock system is second to none and offers water and electric at your slip. We will be back again. The place is always busy, so book in advance as much as possible. A special thank you to Lois for her outstanding service and " Being the Difference" in my stay.

The docks are new but some of the amenities they are advertising are not yet available. Go to C dock if you don’t care for loud music.
