I gave it 5 stars only because 6 stars of more were not available. Always, Always one of the best days one the water in any year. You guys run a great marine and a great Restaraunt and out door area.

I just wanted to say that our visit to Kingman was fabulous. Personal call the day before to welcome coming and marina instructions, great dock and launch staff, and above and beyond service. Sophie picked up ethanal free gas and delivered to our boat from the local Ace Hardware and two boats on our cruise had mechanical problems solved in a day. We will be back again hopefully for a longer stay. Thanks Sophie and staff!!!

This is the friendliest most efficient crew you will find anywhere. Our stay involved a big gathering at the Chart Room where we were given our own area. Chart Room was very accommodating. Kingman and Chart Room work together to serve boaters.

The staff are the friendliest people I’ve every encountered at a boat yard. From Sophie the Harbormaster to the launch driver and the wait staff at the Chart Room.our member were able to get boat repairs done without waiting and the Marina Car, a shiny Audi was a our disposal for shopping. And, it was a Must goback.perfect day on Basset island’sbeach.

The dockmaster, Sophie and the rest of the crew were excellent, from the launch operators to the fuel dock personnel. Sophie reached out to us to confirm our arrival and answered any questions concerning the approach to the marina. She couldn't have more helpful. The bathrooms and families were clean and having access to the Chart Room restaurant is always a plus.
Kingsman Marine is always a stopover for us when we're in Buzzards Bay.

Kingman Yacht Center sets the standard for customer service. From greeting you by name when you call in on arrival to remembering your dog's name, they make you feel genuinely welcome. The attention to detail is incredible. What really impressed us was that after we had already departed, the dockmaster called to apologize that she hadn't had the chance to meet us in person and simply wanted to thank us for staying the night. That kind of personal touch is rare these days, and it's what makes Kingman a place we'll definitely return to.

2026 update: we spent another wonderful week here. The staff and management are second to none. Thank you for another wonderful experience!
2025: We spent three weeks here on a mooring ball. Fantastic launch operators, professional and proficient! Sophie, the Dockmaster, is absolutely wonderful and helped us so much. Great restaurant and fun bar right on site.

Our Sunday 6/28/26 Stay - was amazing, per usual. Sophie runs a well oiled machine. She and her team provide exempalry customer services. Always ready to grab a line or provide support. Shoreside facilities are very nice. Special shout out to Sylvia in the Parts Department, super responsive and helpful.

We’ve been coming to kingman as the last stop north on our annual cape and islands boat trip for roughly 10 years. It’s not just the last stop on trip but a part we look forward too the most. This is an excellent locally owned full service marina with an onsite restaurant. Amazing and friendly staff that go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Come to kingman, go for a swim at bassets island, then hit the chart room for dinner, then drink 25 mudslides with your buddies and make it your own karaoke night with the guy playing piano.
This place is everything you want on the cape wrapped up with a bow on it.

Kingman Yacht Center is a great place with a lot to explore nearby. The staff is all very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time at the marina as well as at the Chart Room. You have to check this place out. Very accommodating and very easy to come and go from the moorings.
