Truly wonderful location inside the museum property. The staff was incredibly helpful as 5 boats arrived at the same time when the afternoon bridge opened. These folks handled it perfectly with excellent radio coordination. Also great recommendation for dinner as well.

Great staff to get us settled on the dock. Good services. Easy access to town and great access to the museum. Being able to walk the grounds at night was wonderful.
Another great visit July 2025. Greg and his team took great care of us as always. We’ll be back soon.

Totally perfect stay. Dock staff is always fantastic. Don’t let Mystic River and bridges scare you. Wind and current are never an issue. The grounds and amenities are awesome.

As always, top notch visit! Greg and his crew bend over backwards to ensure every detail is taken are of from tie up to departure! The amenities are second to none. Mystic Seaport Museum and the surrounding town are at the top of our list!!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The facilities are top notch and being on the grounds of the Seaport Museum was very cool. 4th of July parade and then an outdoor concert and screening of “Jaws” on the 5th was an unexpected pleasure. Definitely coming back.

In the south docks where we were, there are finger piers extending about halfway on the side of our 39' sailboat. The dock is sideways to the current Best to come and go at slack. The dockmaster is very pro-active and helped us in and out. Water and electric are included. There are no restrooms close to the boat. The shower room/laundry is on the other side of the seaport, quite a long way from the boat. It is new and quite nice with a computer area and TV room. Laundry is free All in all, a good experience.

Fantastic venue. Well protected location at a world class museum. Love being able to walk around the grounds and explore the town at a leisurely pace. The Marina facilities are nice, quiet, and well located on the grounds. Will come back again.

Greg the Dock Master and his team were very welcoming and helpful upon arrival, but our seawall location was difficult to get off and on depending on the tide. However, I arrived early for the Mystic Wooden Boat Show and he was able to keep me in one place for my entire stay here.
Overall the staff of the Seaport Museum was nothing short of fabulous! I will be back!

One of the best marina/dock views/experiences on the northeast. Mystic Seaport has new docks, new electric, new bathroom/laundry/computer facilities. Staff is expert docking help and friendly. And the best part is that you get to stay in a museum at night! so cool!

Nice protected anchorage with new floating docks right in the middle of Mystic Seaports exhibits. New restaurant La Page on site. The only negative is dealing with the 2 bridges to gain access. We experienced delays both coming and going. We would still recommend.

A great stay as always, love all the improvements you have made with the floating docks and the members private bathrooms and shower .plus washers and dryers, a long way from the bathrooms that were by the lumber mill years ago. I want to thank Greg as always for making our stay easy with no stress from your arrival with assistance with dock lines and power to the same assistance upon departure. I want to thank the entire Mystic Seaport organization for continuing to make a great place better without losing its charm.

Mystic Seaport Museum provides an ideal destination, especially for those traveling by boat. Located on the charming and historic Mystic River, we are a short distance from Long Island Sound and offer well-protected docks that are north of both the Mystic River Highway Bridge and the Amtrak Mystic Railroad Bridge. We recently installed 820' floating docks and updated shore power offerings.
Boaters and their guests receive complimentary museum admission while docked at Mystic Seaport. We invite you to stroll through our 19th-century seafaring village, climb aboard historic vessels, and explore exhibit halls. After visitors are gone for the day, our guests have the unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our grounds in the evening, an experience reported by many to be the most magical part of their stay.
Dockage also includes free wireless internet, power, water, and additional amenities. Downtown Mystic, located just a short walk from Mystic Seaport, offers a variety of dining and shopping options. We look forward to your visit and will do whatever possible to make your stay with us an enjoyable and memorable one.
The Amtrak Mystic Railroad Bridge opens on demand when no train traffic is present. The Mystic River Highway Bridge opens 40 minutes after the hour when requested. Both bridges can be hailed on channel 13.
In the off-season, please excuse any delay in response as our dock staff works part-time. Requests are checked once a day, Monday-Friday.
