An absolute pleasure. The staff were phenomenal. The floating docks, spit and polish showers and heads. Best facilities ever. We are Mariner members and it is our favorite spot. Love the walk into town and the beauty of the museum grounds in the off hours. And…..very very quiet.

This is a great facility and a real bargain. When you throw in clean showers, clean washing machines, pump out boat and the museum, of course. Plus there's an ice cream shop just to the north!

Mystic Seaport Marina is an absolute gem, beautifully maintained, and genuinely welcoming from the moment you arrive. The surrounding experience is just as impressive: the Seaport Museum is fantastic, packed with fascinating exhibits and maritime history that feel engaging for both first-timers and longtime enthusiasts. Pair that with the charming town of Mystic, and you get a perfect blend of coastal wonder, local character, and great places to explore. And a big shout-out to the staff—they’re fantastic: friendly, responsive, and always willing to help, which makes the whole stay feel smooth, personal, and memorable. Lovely Day

The Seaport is one of most favorite stops. The staff can't be better. Always ready, willing and able to assist. Have stayed in the Seaport many times over the last 30+ years and each time is better than the last. Kudo's to all at the Seaport for making our stay so great.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. What an awesome experience and the history the museum preserves. Being able to walk the grounds after hours was pretty cool. Would definitely recommend staying at the Mystic Seaport Museum.

After another wonderful visit, my review from last year stands: One of the loveliest places to visit by boat, the magic of Mystic Seaport Museum never disappoints. The dock staff is courteous, knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating. The floating docks are kept in impeccable condition. Add to this the terrific boater facilities, including spotless and spacious bathrooms. Once again, we look forward to our next visit.

Exceptional facility, staff and location. A true gem and one of my top ports in the North East. The marina is adjacent to a beautiful hotel / resort that has a great restaurant and bar. Allow extra time for the swinging rail road bridge. The highway bridge only opens at 40 mins after the hour and your plans could be thrown amiss if you have to wait for the train bridge. Going North bound into the Seaport you have to make it thru the train bridge before you get to the highway bridge.

The Seaport is always amazing on our stay there this year we were treated to a running antique engine exhibit and we really enjoyed the Fireboat.

Staff was great, facilities were great, and hanging around the old ships at night is really a remarkable experience.

It is a great place to stay. Having the run of the grounds after hours is a special treat. After the general public leaves is when it actually feels like you are walking around in the 1800's. Staff is always attentive and helpful.

Dockhands were very helpful. We stayed on a floating dock but there are some fixed docks. The grounds of the museum are amazing. We only had one day which really isn’t enough. Bathrooms / showers are excellent.

We are spending the summer traveling the east coast from the Carolinas to New England. This has been our favorite stop, by far. Staff is so helpful and there is so much to see and do. Facilities are first class. We wish we could spend the whole summer there!

What a special place to stay. The Marina at Mystic Seaport is excellent; well kept, modern, floating docks. The staff is super helpful, and full of valuable advice about the seaport museum and the nearby town center. And most importantly, the village itself is a treasure. Highly recommend this site.

One of our absolute favorite places to dock! The staff here at Mystic Seaport Museum are always extremely helpful, getting BOATS docked and familiarizing visitors with the area. The Mystic River is amazingly quiet, peaceful, and close to lots of attractions.

About Mystic Seaport Museum

Mystic Seaport Museum provides an ideal destination, especially for those traveling by boat. Located on the charming and historic Mystic River, we are a short distance from Long Island Sound and offer well-protected docks that are north of both the Mystic River Highway Bridge and the Amtrak Mystic Railroad Bridge. We recently installed 820' floating docks and updated shore power offerings.

Boaters and their guests receive complimentary museum admission while docked at Mystic Seaport. We invite you to stroll through our 19th-century seafaring village, climb aboard historic vessels, and explore exhibit halls. After visitors are gone for the day, our guests have the unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our grounds in the evening, an experience reported by many to be the most magical part of their stay.

Dockage also includes free wireless internet, water, and additional amenities. Downtown Mystic, located just a short walk from Mystic Seaport, offers a variety of dining and shopping options. We look forward to your visit and will do whatever possible to make your stay with us an enjoyable and memorable one.

The Amtrak Mystic Railroad Bridge opens on demand when no train traffic is present. The Mystic River Highway Bridge opens 40 minutes after the hour when requested. Both bridges can be hailed on channel 13.

In the off-season, please excuse any delay in response as our dock staff works part-time. Requests are checked once a day, Monday-Friday.
