One of my favorite marinas in Florida. Great location and easy to get in and out. Only two drawbacks. First no real transient facilities for only marina guest. Second one dock is shared with public businesses leaving the marina guest unprotected. Anyone can wonder down the marina by the boats which poses a security risk. Alternate dock's gate is not secure.

Contrary to the Dockwa description and instructions, the North docks are not secure. No locks on the fence gate and the marina backs up the Tampa Convention Center which is a very public area. The TCC needs to fix this! On the 2nd morning when I arrived at the docks, the gate was propped open. Also, the docks seem to not get much use and they have become a bird infested floating dock. Docks need to be pressure washed daily to clean up the bird mess according to the dock master

Easy in and easy out. No lock on marina gate, not good. Location-excellent. Floating docks. No showers, one public bathroom, hardly ideal. Dockmaster helped our docking-excellent, but not on the property. Call if needed.

Excellent location. Floating docks. Good power and water. TCCC puts you a 10 minute walk from an endless array of shops, restaurants and attractions. The free trolley will take you to Ybor and stops in between. Dog friendly. Great for people watching and lounging.

We love staying right here off the Riverwalk. my only feedback would be we would really like to have a lock on the gate that leads down to the docks. This may be something that you guys plan to do because we know the gate just got put on the day before we arrived.

Dockmaster (Sam) is excellent: knowledgeable and good with lines, he assisted as we tied to leeward side of dock without incident. This visit, he managed the same expertise with an injured foot in a boot

We'd been anchored nearby until we'd run out of water and our batteries were low. The Tampa Convention Center Marina wouldn't let tie and get water for free, and there was no other marina open that we could get to easily, so we paid for a night's tie up. It was Super Bowl night so the waterfront was lively in the evening, but there seemed to be a curfew--anyway, the noise didn't go on late.
No sign of the locked gate to the slips that we were told about.
The dockmaster was polite on the phone and seemed eager to be helpful.
It was nice being right on the River Walk.

The dock hands that came to assist were very friendly and helpful. The problem was that I had reserved the dock for two nights. On the second night when I returned there was another boat in my slip. They said that the dock master, Sam , had told them to stay in my slip. Sam was not available by phone as it was late. We had to tie up on the end with no power.

Great location to walk, trolley and see downtown Tampa and Ybor City. Walk to Amalie Arena and the Straz. Marina staff excellent!
About Tampa Convention Center Marina
Come to Seddon Channel and tie up at one of two floating docks for a few hours or stay overnight. Just a few steps puts you at The Sail, a pet-friendly waterfront eatery and bar on Tampa's Riverwalk. Walk from there to: The Florida Aquarium, Amalie Arena, Tampa Bay History Center, Channelside, Tampa Museum of Art, Curtis Hixon Park, or the Glazer Children's Museum. Visitors can also take advantage of free rides with the Downtowner or hop aboard the Tampa Streetcar and ride to Ybor City.
