The Marina was way understaffed for a Holiday weekend. We came in on Sunday and had to wait over 15 minutes to find out our slip assignment. We did not receive the normal outstanding experience when docking our boat. The Blue Point restaurant was out of a lot of items on the menu due to the last night open for the season. Tuesday the Marina Ship store was not open, we did not have the code to get install the bathrooms. We had to go to the front desk at the hotel to receive the code.

Everyone we encountered was very helpful. The marina was clean and well kept. Transportation was readily accessible. The hotel grounds were impressive and felt like a resort. My only complaint is having to pay an additional fee to use the pool when I’ve already paid a slip fee.

The Hyatt has invested a lot in the resort, but apparently forgot the marina docks. They're showing their age; nails and screws sticking up, and occasional soft boards.
On the other hand, the shower facilities are nice and kept very clean.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt this year with our family. We’ve been coming here for years and this year it was a noticeably higher-level experience. The marina staff and the hotel are upping their game since last year. Happy to see it after witnessing a decline in recent years. We will be back!

There is a $25 per person “resort fee” to use any of the amenities you’re coming for in the first place. There is no mention of this fee anywhere before or after you book. Even in the multiple welcome emails (that also still mention Covid restrictions) you only find out about it when you arrive and try to get in the pool. It’s not an unreasonable number, it’s just very off-putting once you’re here and pot committed. Atlantis, Nassau Bahamas (because of their water park) does the same thing and it’s $75 per day for four, but it’s a mandatory purchase, built into the booking in advance.

Nice resort. Docks are average for being a resort. Floating docks are in need of power washing as mold and seagull crap dominated the area. Hyatt is a great place, 3 pools, etc. But as a marina guest, you have to pay $25 per person to gain access to the pools (this should be included).

If you ever have the chance to travel up the Choptank River, do yourself a huge favor by visiting the Hyatt River Marsh Marina. Bayley and her team provide excellent, high-quality service to all who stop by. Without question, the best, helpful and careful boat handlers in the State, and the support services are also superior. We highly recommend this amazing place.

Upon arrival to the floating dock I was greeted by Bayley the marina manager. She quickly secured my 38 foot boat and connected my shore power and helped place the fenders. Bayley also issued me my marina and pool security door codes and WiFi password. I enjoyed a nice meal at the Blue Point Provision Company which is located on the upper level of the Marina office space. The food was very good. The bath house was air conditioned and offered individual private shower rooms with locking doors. Upon departure a young man helped me cast off my lines while I got underway. I enjoyed my visit to River Marsh Marina and look forward to returning next year.

Dockhands were appropriately attentive. Slip alongside the catwalk was good. Docks are in need of repair - lots of old boards. Diesel was “cheap” at $4.95/gallon so that was nice.

Piers and electric are not maintained, most boat had to move because electric was not working
Fuel was priced at least a dollar higher than anyone around and drinks were really expensive

The marina was very nice and well kept. Everything related to the Marina was handled well by the staff. Our only concern was related the waters edge grille. We went there for dinner and the food was average at best and the service was not very good. I would recommend trying another place to eat at before spending the money at waters edge.

We had a very nice stay. Marina staff are great! Very friendly and helpful with docking and checkin. We hadn’t been here in a while and were pleasantly surprised by how nice the facilities and amenities were. All of the Hyatt staff were terrificeager to please.

The Hyatt has historically been meticulous but it is beginning to show its age and maintenance is slipping and not keeping up. The concrete on the dockets is deteriorating, the water connections valve did not work, and pedestal power circuit breaker kept tripping. Also, there were times when the hotel operating did not answer the phone.

Great stay, Derick did a first-rate job of tying us up, as was evident when a couple of storms hit, we had no issues, road both out without any problems. Marina manager was awesome. They gave us rides to the pool, we're there for whatever we needed, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good place to go.

While the staff met us at the dock when we arrived, and were helpful and friendly, no one was staffing the marina store in the days following our arrival - we were unable to purchase ice or water. There were no larger trash containers where we were docked ( stationary floating single floating pier). Two of their eating facilities were closed, guests on our boat golfed but the restaurant at the golf course was closed. The restaurant at the marina was also closed. Overall, disappointing visit considering the amenities that are available but not in use. The condition of the dock was a little worn and caused some concern for those that are not sure footed. We have visited the marina many times in the last 15+ years and have observed a steady decline in their service and facilities.

Very nice bathhouse facilities, and the dockmaster was very easy-going about a couple special requests. I also went up to the Hyatt and use their facilities, which were great.

The River Marsh marina was a quiet place in the fall which was nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!
