About Bahia Mar Yachting Center
The Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center is the ultimate Hotel and Marina destination in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The marina offers 250 slips capable of handling vessels up to 300 feet along it’s 3,000 foot parallel dock and more than 5,000 feet of floating docks. This facility offers High Speed fueling, free WiFi, in slip sanitary pump-out, dive shop, a marine maintenance provider and full access to all of the amenities located within the property and the Hotel. Bahia Mar is also the home of the world renowned Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
This full service tropical Beach Resort and Marina is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. On the Beach front, the marina is adjacent to the Intercoastal Waterway and only 1.5 miles from Port Everglades. Booking Info
The Dockwa system bases pricing solely on vessel length. Bahia Mar Marina bases pricing on vessel length or slip length, whichever is greater, and catamarans are charged for two slips. A boater’s guide to Bahia Mar Marina, Yachting Center
The Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center is the total package for hotel and marina destinations in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The property features a Hilton Hotel complete with restaurants, shops, a swimming pool, and a tennis court. As a bonus, directly across the street from the docks is a luxurious white-sand beach for you to soak up the sun.
The Bahia Mar Yachting Center is also home to the annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. This world renowned event typically takes place at the end of October.
Approach and dockage
When you approach the Bahia Mar Resort from the intracoastal waterway, you will first see it’s 3,000 foot long floating pier. Behind that though is more than 5,000 feet of floating docks. In total, this marinas has 250 slips with some large enough to dock 300 foot long yachts.
If you need any help docking, hail the dockmaster on VHF channel 16.

Bathrooms/showers/laundry
Located adjacent to the hotel’s swimming pool, which is right in the middle of the marina. It’s a little bit of a walk from the docks, but are resort-quality facilities equipped with air conditioning.

The main attraction in Fort Lauderdale is the landscaped beachfront promenade with its signature white wave wall and brick-paved path. On one side, you have beautiful Lauderdale Beach where beach bums can spend all day soaking up the rays. On the other side is an array of shops, restaurants, sidewalk cafes, and entertainment venues that will keep tourists busy well into the night.

Purchase a day pass ticket and enjoy unlimited rides with 11 stops across Fort Lauderdale. Not only is it a great way to get from attraction to attraction in Fort Lauderdale, but the taxi is an entertainment destination it it’s own right. We recommend riding the Taxi after 4:00pm. That’s when Happy Hour kicks off and they begin to serve refreshing drinks at a discount on board.
