the system to reserve a dock is not user friendly when trying to book same day from a phone. Once we arrived the gate to the dock let us out using the App, but then did not work again for us or another guest. Security was called but he could not get the gate open. Eventually the guest remove the hardware that held the hydraulic gate arm an gained access. The women's showers were inaccessible because the card reader was broke, had to shower in the men's while my husband stood guard. The night security never filed an incident report for the morning dock hand and he tried to close the gate that had been left open all night so guest could get to their boat and almost caused an access issue again. In addition when we went to leave our shore power cord was burnt, just wondering if it had anything to do with the gate not having power (electrical issue)?
Overall it was not the most pleasant of stays. We did stay at the Miami Beach Marina the next night and customer service was much better, the marina was in working order ( no shore power issues either) and had no access issues with the App.

My favorite Marina in Fort Lauderdale, on the beach, short walk from Elbo Room, fuel and pool access. Ally in the office is so Helpful, Zack is great on lines. Five stars xoxo

Facilities were clean. Nice floating docks. Make sure you receive an email invitation from the staff to access the Verkada Pass APP. We did not receive this invitation and consequently were unable to access the APP which is needed to gain dock access. We arrived after hours so we had to contact security to gain access to the dock area once we had exited and returned.

Pay close attention to the water taxis if assigned to dock B. They do not tie to the dock. The thrust from the taxi boat is used to hold their boat to the dock. The thrust will push you in close quarters.

Beautiful facility. Lots to do within walking distance. Pump out at your slip.
Terry at the marina office had a great attitude and was super helpful.
The fuel attendant was so patient as we have problems when using high speed diesel pumps. I will come here again.

The Dockwa system bases pricing solely on vessel length. Bahia Mar Marina bases pricing on vessel length or slip length, whichever is greater, and catamarans are charged for two slips. A boater’s guide to Bahia Mar Marina, Yachting Center
The Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center is the total package for hotel and marina destinations in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The property features a Hilton Hotel complete with restaurants, shops, a swimming pool, and a tennis court. As a bonus, directly across the street from the docks is a luxurious white-sand beach for you to soak up the sun.
The Bahia Mar Yachting Center is also home to the annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. This world renowned event typically takes place at the end of October.
Approach and dockage
When you approach the Bahia Mar Resort from the intracoastal waterway, you will first see it’s 3,000 foot long floating pier. Behind that though is more than 5,000 feet of floating docks. In total, this marinas has 250 slips with some large enough to dock 300 foot long yachts.
If you need any help docking, hail the dockmaster on VHF channel 16.

Not only is it a great way to get from attraction to attraction in Fort Lauderdale, but the taxi is an entertainment destination it it’s own right. We recommend riding the Taxi after 4:00pm. That’s when Happy Hour kicks off and they begin to serve refreshing drinks at a discount on board.
