Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Washington D.C. sky line while sailing, kayaking or enjoying a stand-up paddleboard around the iconic Daingerfield Island. This Marina is also a spectacular spot to sit and watch planes land. Prefer two wheels to the water? Rent a bike and explore the nearby Mount Vernon Bike Trail that takes you from the front doors of George Washington’s Mount Vernon to the foot of the Washington Monument. End your adventures with a picnic in the park or stop by for an overly indulgent burger, shake, or beer at the delicious new burger joint, Triple Craft (check their website for seasonal hours).
