Very noisy marina on weekends. Docks in need of repair and electricity quality poor. Amenities around marina (restaurants, nightlife) are nice.

Clearwater beach marina was a nice place to stay. There are many things to do in walking distance. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The marina is older but should be going thru a major renovation next year. The only reason its not 5 stars is the parking situation. Its hit or miss finding a place to park after about 10 AM most days, especially on weekends. Hopefully the renovation includes a parking garage with additional places to park.

We docked our 30 ft Sea Hunt for 4 nights and had a great experience. No issues. Not crowded. Great location in the heart of Clearwater Beach. Easy in and out to the Gulf. Safe and secure. Would stay again!

Awesome visit. Terrific, if touristy. But, very good facilities. Friendly staff. Was able to find diver same day to clean hull. A few wakings from constant tour and fishing boats. Easy access to stores.

This is a very tired marina. I understand they have plans to totally redo the marina to floating docks. The marina crew is very accommodating and the location is great for access to a beautiful white sand beach and some stretch of some restaurants and shopping including a market for general reprovisioning.

Staff was awesome , friendly and accommodating. Only issue is , if you're going to get a car for running errands. Make sure to pay immediately, probably skip the code provided. Because the parking people are ridiculous. Walked in talled to them about said code, walked out to kios , got behind a guy having trouble with his credit card. Takes 11 minutes to pay. I get a 20 fine. Lady in the office, says it valid. Because I should have paid, before I spoke to them, and it was over 10 mins. So pay, before you pay or pay more.

We stayed at Clearwater Beach Municipal Marina for 5 nights. It was easy to find our slip. A dockhand was available to help us tie up. The marina is close to a busy Clearwater Beach! Lot's of restaurants within walking distance. The docks are kept washed each day as many pelicans, seagulls, etc. like to use them! Very professional staff. We changed our oil while there and utilized their oil-dump.

Nice stop. The staff was very nice. Great location with easy access to the beach and downtown. The Jolly Trolley to Dunedin and Tarpon Springs stops right off the docks and is a quick and economical way to get around. It's a bit bouncy from boat traffic, but otherwise, it's not bad. We would stop again.
About Clearwater Beach Municipal Marina
While we are very excited about the construction of our new marina, our project start date has been pushed back, so we have extended our transient reservation timeline. We will now accept transient reservations until August 15th 2024. We hope you consider choosing Clearwater Beach Marina for an upcoming stay in the area.
All transient tenants will need to check in with one of our dockmasters at the Fuel Dock office. The Fuel Dock is located at the southeastern corner of our marina as you make your approach (see our map below in the photos section). There is a one-time $10.00 non-refundable fee associated with each reservation.
Clearwater Beach Marina is ideally located on world-renowned Clearwater Beach, which was rated by TripAdvisor as the #1 Best Beach in the United States for 2018. Clearwater Beach Marina offers access to all boating activities. We are home to the finest fishing charters, sailing charters, sight-seeing boats, dinner cruises, dolphin tours, parasailing and personal watercraft. We also have restaurants, a gift shop, barber shop, laundry facilities, mini-mart and bait house. It is centrally located so you are close to shopping and entertainment venues.
Clearwater Beach Marina has more than 200 slips and is open year-round. There are 23 slips available for transient boaters. We are equipped to accommodate vessels up to 125 feet. There is no drawbridge between our marina and the Gulf of Mexico. We offer gasoline and diesel fuel, free pumpouts, showers, 24-hour security, weather monitor, free fishing pier and waste oil disposal. 208V electric service provided. We are staffed by employees that are trained to provide the highest customer service standards to Clearwater citizens and visitors. There is no trailer parking at the Clearwater Beach Marina.
Booking Info
Maximum 3 month stay for transient tenants. When you check-in it is required you provide the dockmaster with proof of insurance - you can upload this in Dockwa too.
Please bring your smart phone with at check-in so you can be given access to locked areas of the marina facility through our virtual key app. Application is compatible with both I-Phone or Android smart phones.
A lower weekly rate will automatically be applied to your dockage cost for stays of seven (7) nights or greater.
A lower monthly rate will automatically be applied to your dockage cost for stays of thirty (30) nights or greater.
