There was no staff present and the facilities are no where near as nice as their Portland Marina but they charged a good bit more. It took a phone call and two emails to even get a response to see if they had an opening.

There was NO STAFF at the Marina when we arrived. They did not answer a VHF hail on their frequency or their phone! We arrived after Labor Day so the staff took off I guess, but they still took our money! Compared to DiMillo's in Portland which we have liked very much in the past, this is a bad joke!

The marina was unmanned. The head was not clean. No reply from Dockwa reservation request. Charged full rate.

Mason was our Dockhand and he was amazing👍🏻 our reservation was delayed by another boat departing and he kept in close contact with us. IT was peaceful and the dockage town was adorable

DiMillos has everything we need and an ideal location. I mean it’s two blocks to Solo Italiano and Standard Baking Company…. The crew are always helpful. Very happy.

Nice, central location for exploring Kennebunk. Be sure to check the tides if you draw more than 4 feet. The amenities were acceptable, but limited. The town is very walkable. We enjoyed Ryan's Corner House Irish Pub and The Pilot House.

Very very low tide coming in.

Good location, close to town center. Maybe a bit of an issue getting settled at the dock but good for us.

We were very dissatisfied. No one was at the dock to help us with lines, the water wasn’t turned on at the docks and we didn’t know what to do with the trash. There was no amenities for the price we were charged for dockage.

Great spot and very close to town for shopping and eating

Great location right in town. Would give it 3.5 stars. Dock staff very helpful but meager facilities lacking. Single bathroom was not clean. Agree with previous comments to arrive at slack tide.

DiMillo's is located right in the heart of Kennebunkport. Which makes it an ideal stop to explore this lovely town. It is also a wonderful facility with a great dockmaster who is always there to help. We stayed at DeMillo's last year and were very glad that they could accommodate us again this year. Top notch!!

No frills marina, but an excellent location. Arrival was simple (called ahead and they let us know our slip position). Good water pressure and electrical hookup worked. Marina does not have much in the way of amenities, but the in-town location is great. We stayed ashore so can’t comment on overnight, but I can’t imagine it’s bad. I’d come back here.

Dock hands very helpful. Docks are nice. Internet was good. Only issue is only one bathroom and timing the currents.

Great location right in town. Channel coming in is tight and strong currents during large tide change. Larger slips are perpendicular to strong tide current so consider slack tide arrival and departure. Minimum facilities. Pretty location.

Very helpful & relaxed atmosphere. Dock hand was great & we’re certainly looking forward to another few day trips back to Dimillos Kennebunk Marina this Summer.

Great location close to town. Yes, there can be a ripping current and upon our arrival there was also a stiff wind. But a competent dockhand was right there to assist us and we docked successfully. Traveling in a group of 3 boats it was fun to all be docked together as per our request. We are self-contained on our boat and so the restroom didn’t matter but there is only one toilet and shower. This place cost significantly less than the other choice (Chick’s) and is so much less walking. We will be back. Lots of great restaurants & shopping literally at your door.

Great location close to town. Nice quality docks and friendly dock hand greeted us. Not much else offered. Lock for gate to docks broken for second year in a row. Still a good deal compared to Chicks which is further away from town.

Dockhands were inexperienced. In difficult current witnessed several instances where fellow boaters were assisting vs dockhand. Bathroom facility nice but floor flooded. Security gate was found open several times and could be bypassed easily by removing a pin. Only benefit- close to town.

Very helpful young man to help us in. Nice docks. Great location. Very nice showers. Only downside is there is no laundry.

Great location—closest Marina to Town. Basic, but adequate facilities. Having only one head can slow down your day if you are behind another boat crew. Beware there is no pump out here or anywhere in the Kennebunkport river.

Good location. Overpriced to dock in someone's back yard with a cheap inter-city gate which works intermittently. Power good, water spigots broken. Inexperienced and really bad dockhand(s?) who were never around when needed. Oh, and they don't answer the radio. The cross current is a bugger if you catch it wrong and your bow flare may take out an electric stanchion. There is a good brewpub next door to celebrate your arrival, however.

We had a great stay at DiMillo’s. Based on the reviews from last year, it seems the issues have been corrected. Devon responded to our call on channel 9, met us at the dock to help us tie up. He told us to get settled and then meet him at the office where he explained all the amenities including WiFi, bathroom with shower, code for security gate, and where to drop garbage.
Location is very convenient being the closest marina to town. We were concerned about the noise from the restaurant across the water but they stop serving at 9 so it was quiet by 10.
There still isn’t a sign on the water side but it’s the only marina on the left side and it across from the Arundel Wharf restaurant.
Only suggestion is to install a drain in the shower. Currently the drain is in the bathroom. Even though it was clean, as soon as someone takes a shower, the floor is wet.

Excellent location. Nice docks. Very close to downtown restaurants and shops. Bathroom and shower facility were fairly clean and updated. I did receive a call from a DiMillos employee to confirm my reservation and arrival time which was nice but no one met us at the dock to assist which was strange. That aside we had pleasant stay but not overly impressed.

The facility was not up to the standards of DiMillo's in Portland, ME. The dock staff was courteous and helped with our lines when we arrived. He was not monitoring Ch 71 but happened to be standing on the dock when we arrived. From the river there is absolutely no DiMillo signage and with the staff not monitoring the VHF it was a guess as to which docks were theirs. The docks were well maintained with adequate access to power and water. When asked about a pump-out the dock staff said that DiMillo's had no facilities and at first did not know where we might have this taken care of. Then he recommended Chic's for both a pump-out and for fuel. It did occur to me that I might have been better off staying at Chic's in the first place.
The most disappointing was the condition of the shore bathroom and shower. It had been nicely remodeled but it was filthy with mud and water all over the floor. On day one I assumed that it was simply a discourteous customer but on day two it was just as bad if not worse. When I mentioned to the dock staff that the bathroom was very dirty he replied that he had not been in it over the two days we were moored there. The morning of our departure I went ashore and checked, it was still filthy. Needless to say, we showered on our boat.
There were other little things like the security gate that did not lock properly and could easily be pulled open without use of the code and a big buildup of seaweed and grass along the entire length of my hull which I had to clear before departing so that my thruster did not get fouled.
At a charge of $5 per foot per night DiMillo's in Kennebunk was not worth the price. I doubt I will stay there again and I certainly will not recommend it to others. We selected the facility because of the DiMillo name and our past good experience at their facility in Portland. Kennebunk did not come close to measuring up to that standard.

Sadly, we had a very poor experience at this marina, and I am still awaiting a call from the manager to discuss this further. What boaters are looking for when paying $200 a night at a marina is a safe place to dock and a good nights sleep! We had neither. Firstly, when we arrived, despite having called ahead to announce our arrival, we were not met initially, and were not told which dock we were supposed to go to so we had to hover until we were met by a dockhand. This is problematic as there is significant current and no space to maneuver. In the end we did end up safely on the dock but the experience was lass than satisfactory. Secondly, and more seriously, we were docked at the end of a dock where a large motor vessel was tied up, and they ran their generator ALL NIGHT LONG!!! We had to breathe in diesel fumes the entire night. Thirdly, as someone else reported in their review from early JULY, the gate would not lock as it was broken. Fourthly, we almost had someone hit us as they were departing as the river is extremely tight given our beam (15 feet). Nathan, who was very responsive to our concerns, ran onto our boat to push off the boat that was about to hit us. He also, as a goodwill gesture, gave us a $40 refund on our stay. But the manager has still not called me to discuss this. Very poor customer relations and recovery.
About DiMillo's Kennebunk Marina
DiMillo's is proud to announce we have opened our second location in the beautiful town of Kennebunk. Only steps away from some of the finest restaurants and shops in downtown Kennebunkport, our marina is ideal for all boaters looking to make the most of these gorgeous towns. With enough dockage to accommodate vessels up to 85 feet comfortably, our Kennebunk Marina is very easy to access once in the river.
