Hello Boaters! Welcome to Spectacle Island. Here is what you can expect when you visit the Island this summer due to COVID-19. The marina will be free of charge first come first served. When tying up in the marina pull as far in as possible to maximize space on our floats, in other words, please don't tie up in the middle of an empty float. Please make note of the drop-off/pick-up float and do not tie up there as it will interfere with the ferry pulling in and out. The moorings will be available to reserve through DOCKWA, $10 for a day trip and $25 overnight. We ask that you stay on your vessel whil in the marina or walk up to visit the Island. DCR dinghies will not be provided this year. Private tenders/dinghies may be landed ashore on the North side of the swimming beach in the mooring area, not in the marina. drop-off/pick-up dock is in the marina marked with signs. We ask that you practice social distancing while on Island and wear a mask if you are not able to do so. Visitor center will be closed. Restrooms are currently close due to a power outage. Please follow rules and signage when on island. The swimming beach will not be guarded. Dogs are not allowed on Island. Bubblers/drinking fountains will be closed rinse off showers may be available. Thank you, and Enjoy!
Spectacle Island features both moorings and a marina. The Spectacle Island Marina is a first come, first serve, floating dock system providing access to the island and its many amenities. Moorings are located on the north side of the main pier and can be reserved on the Dockwa app or on Dockwa.com.
$25 mooring reservation is for day and overnight use. $10 day trip reservation is for day use only.
