The dock is in very good shape, the marina is very good at communication if we needed any thing. Very nice and convenient to the hotel

Enjoyed our stay here. Hotel staff was great! Shuttle service to waterfront park made it a real value. Was able to dip in the pool also.

Had no issues during our two night stay. Pretty much all self serve. If you are a worry wort, it should be noted the gate to the dock wasn’t locking during our stay but if we are honest the gate is not really going to stop anyone if they really wanted to get out on the dock so it did not concern us. Would use again if back in the area. Cheapest option we found for our needs.

1. While the "dock master" is super nice, she is very inexperienced. There was very little help docking, so be prepared to do it yourself. 2. There is only one 80' long dock, and the side closest to the shore is the transient side. It is 3.5' at low tide!! 3. Very quiet, convenient as any other marina and absolutely no wake! I would stay here again.

Reasonable price. Dock is protected from wave action. Hotel offers a free shuttle to downtown. Awesome perk!

We brought our 21’ trailer sailor down to Charleston to live aboard for the long Presidents’ Day weekend. Our plan was to enjoy some sailing and see the sights and this dock was ideal for us because they allowed parking the truck and trailer for a small additional fee, whereas other marinas had no parking available for our setup. We launched the boat from Wappoo Cut public ramp and it was a quick and easy motor over to the docks behind Ashley Marina. The docks were very nice with shore power and fresh water hookups and a gated entry with code. We had access to most of the hotel amenities: pool, hot tub, gym, restroom, complimentary coffee and a cafe/beer bar, WiFi etc. The hotel staff members were very friendly and accommodating or our needs. Only down side was that there were no public showers for folks without a hotel room. The free shuttle to the waterfront area made exploring downtown by foot very accessible. Our boat has a swing keel, so depth wasn’t much of an issue, but I don’t think I’d dock here with a boat much over 30’ or with a draft deeper than 5’ due to the tight quarters and proximity to the marshy shore as well as the strong currents with tidal shift. All in all this was an ideal way for our family to visit Charleston and enjoy staying on our sailboat.

Our reservation wasn't honored due to a current boat extending their stay by an additional night. The app is awful because the facilities/locations where you are docking have zero insight to how it works and are completely helpless when issues arise.

Nice dock with easy access to Courtyard or Hilton hotels. Will use again.

Nice small dock, with full amenities with the Marriott. The electric was fixed the day prior to our arrival. Only 50 amp service at the pedestals. Inside dock is close to the shoreline and could be tricky maneuvering in and out of there with a 35 to 45 ft boat. We enjoyed our stay here and definitely wil use this dock again.

Cute little place. It’s definitely not your regular marina as it’s just one 80’ dock with room for a couple of boats. We chose it due to the location, amenities and the free shuttle to downtown (worth doing if you have the time!). Plus with having two little dogs it was quick access to the grass. I had read previous reviews and saw it was a little tricky to find. I looked it up on my phone and found it no problem. There isn’t any dockhands or harbourmaster to assist with getting in and tying up, which was fine for us. So depending on what your skill level and needs are this can be a really cute, convenient spot.

Overall a very nice place, but the electricity was not working. They refunded the slip fee, which was nice. Also, the entire dock was not but working, but even if it was working, they only have 50 AMP marine connections, and 20 AMP EFI outlets. Dockwa has a 30 AMP option when renting the slip but there are no 30 AMP type receptacles. Make sure you bring an adapter if you only have a 30 AMP shorepower connection.

Great setup for hotel. Dock was labeled with my name on arrival so we knew where to park. Each slip was marked.

For the price, your air conditioning unit should run quietly and effectively. Also, the restrooms are fairly outdated. A good hotel in general.

There are no instructions as to how to get TO the small dock. No one there knew how to direct us BEHIND the Ashley dock. The current runs very fast through the place and maneuvering is difficult. There is a Publix within walking distance. Kudos to the hotel manager for helping with lines when docking. Was a Whew! experience getting in/out of there 44' powerboat.

For an unknown Marina, with nobody at the desk of the resort, and no dock master.. it was a great stop! Finally called the Marriott manage for some specific details, where, how deep approach, depth at dock side, power available, water available, wifi (didn't reach the dock) etc. Your sitehadnoinfo either!

This marina provides everything promised and more. While there is limited space, it is worth staying if there is availability. Make sure to talk to the manager as most of the front desk staff are unaware of the dock situation.
